Comparison of downstaging, pap smear, colposcopy and colpo-directed biopsy in the detection of cancer cervix

When Cytology compared Colposcopy, had only 38.8% sensitivity. showed higher specificity (98.4%). 95% patients abnormal colposcopy. Colposcopy a sensitivity 96.3% 72.3%. Sensitivity more than Pap smear, but less pap smear. Thus, offers an excellent tool evaluating cervical lesions. It easy perspective method, its importance lies teaching, diagnosis management lesions, neoplastic non- neoplastic.
